In preparations for the 2021 Grammys Award, Nigerian artiste, Ayo Balogun, fondly called Wizkid, has been nominated for an award in the category of “The Best Global Album”, with his album, “Made In Lagos.
Alongside Wizkid, Femi and Made Kuti was also nominated in this category for their album, “Legacy”
Wizkid, alongside Tems , have also been nominated for the category of “The Best Global Music Performance” with the song “Essence”.
The Awards would be presented on the 31st of January, 2022.
Social media users have taken to different platforms to congratulate the nominees, tagging it as a big win for Nigeria.
