October 12, 2020, seems to be a bloody day in Nigeria, especially for youths in the Surulere area of Lagos State. The slaughter and injuries sustained during the course of the #EndSARS protest seem to have produced lasting memories in the subconscious of the survivors. Different social media users have expressed the same concern through tweets.
Former Vice-president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar also addressed the same issue saying unarmed protesters should not be faced with guns in a democratic society. He said this while speaking to newsmen in Lagos yesterday.
