The Epitaph of Nigeria

Shameful celebration of failure and underdevelopment.

My fellow Nigerians, I write this wholly ashamed and disgusted of this great but poorly managed country. I want to believe, millions of people within and abroad share the same feelings.

Let me begin by saying “Happy Independence Day” to those celebrating because in as much as this country is unlivable there are those benefiting from the chaotic maladministration.

This is just an antithesis of celebration because no town, city, or state can vehemently boast of 24 hours of electricity, not to mention good roads. Please can someone quickly remind me what exactly we are celebrating?

The Epitaph of Nigeria 15

The 1st of October every year should not be celebrated but a constant reminder of affliction, oppression, despotism, stupidity, and evil. Why should we celebrate a date that ended our pride and ushered in barbarism and nepotism?

60 years of compounded failure, ethnic cleansing, suppression, racism, mismanagement, underdevelopment, poverty, and ignorance. We have gone from good to worst and in a most critical stage within 60 years. What exactly have we accomplished, other than destabilizing the economy, moron policies, stagnation, stagflation, the corrupt judicial system, and success in converting youths into mannequins.

Thank you Nigerian leaders for being the worst of mankind. I don’t subscribe to the concept of purgatory or judgment after death, rather time is coming when Nigerians will demand the participatory democracy they deserve. Good riddance to those celebrating this mouthwash.
