Super Eagles midfielder, Etebo Oghenekaro has completed a loan move to newly-promoted Premier League club, Watford from Stoke City until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season at Galatasaray in the Turkish league, he will be joining the likes of William Troost-Ekong, Isaac Success and Dele Tom-Bashiru at the Vicarage Road next season.
Watford announced his signing on their website.
“Watford FC is pleased to confirm the signing of Peter Etebo on a season-long loan from Stoke City, with an option to buy,” read a statement on the club’s website.
“The box-to-box midfielder, 25, is capped 38 times by Nigeria’s senior team, having previously turned out 19 times for the Super Eagles’ Under-23s.
Etebo joined Stoke City before the 2018 FIFA World Cup he has made 45 appearances for the Potters since then scoring two goals.
He was part of the Super Eagles team that won the bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
