Sowore Arrested As DSS Stop Media From Covering Kanu’s Trial

Following the hearing of Nnamdi Kanu’s trial that began at the Federal High Court today, it has been reported that Omoyele Sowore, has been arrested at the Federal High Court Abuja.

According to reports, Sowore was picked up at the court premises during a Facebook Live session on Monday morning.

It was also reported that there had been tight security around the court as the trial of Kanu, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Service resumed today.

Meanwhile, it was also disclosed that journalists at the entrance to the court were not allowed to go in by DSS officers, on the ground that they were not accredited to cover the trial.

According to reports, only 10 media organizations were accredited to cover Kanu’s trial. They included Daily Post, ThisDay, Premium Times, The Nation, Daily Independent, The Herald, National Television Authority, Television Continental, African Independent Television and Channels Television.
