Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has faulted the Imo State government for asking the school students to go for their West African Senior School Certificate Examination on Monday, despite the IPOB sit-at-home order.
She had disclosed this on her Instagram page with a video of how the students were scattered, following the chaos that occurred in the schools on Monday.
It was earlier reported that schools that conducted examinations on Monday, despite the sit-at-home order, were invaded and some motorcycles belonging to both students and teachers were burnt, leading to the disruption of the examination.
Rita Edochie has stated that, “It’s not just to ask people to go about their businesses. Now look at this children you asked to come out for exams, running out of their school. Was there any security to secure these children?”
She added that, “Now if anything had happened to any of them, the same people will only say sorry to their family. In fact I blame the parents that allow their children go through this.”
