Seven Suspected of Multiple Abductions and Child Abuse Arrested by Police

Following the efforts of the Nigerian Police Force, seven suspects of multiple abduction and child pornography have been arrested, two of which were arrested by personnel of the Interpol National Central Bureau Abuja.

Ibrahim Muazzam Mohammad Aminu and Mohammad Tahir Umar, two Kano based citizens were identified as the two suspects nabbed by the Bureau by its Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba.

Police statement revealed that the suspects abducted underage girls, sexually molested them and made videos of the acts which were shared on a WhatsApp group chat ‘Pervertidos’ under the ownership and management of one ‘Adriana’ of Brazilian nationality.

Officer MBA disclosed that the arrest followed information from INTERPOL NCB, Brasilia. Evidence recovered from the suspects hideout included three mobile phones and a laptop which under further analysis by the Forensics unit revealed pornographic contents with the abducted girls which were shared for a fee on the Internet.

The Intelligence Response Team (IRT) released a statement that five other suspects have been arrested on charges of the recent abduction of women in the South-South region of the country. The unit, headed by DCP Abba Kyari disclosed that the preferred victims were young, lone female drivers of expensive cars.

They were abducted from vulnerable places and subjected to sexual abuse before the suspects demanded money from their relatives.

The suspects arrested include Osinachi Ngwakwe, 22, from Ubaka Community in Umahia South LGA, Abia State; Sammy Junior Inordee, ‘alias T-Boy, 27, from Gwarra Community in Khana LGA, Rivers State; Epo-Bari Nwolu, 26, from Ogale Community in Eleme, LGA, Rivers State; Yabari Gbarale, 29, from Gwara community, Khana LGA, Rivers State and Barine Yilda, 30, called Albino from Gwara community, Khana LGA, Rivers State.
