SERAP calls out FG over the oppression of EndSARS protesters

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project SERAP has called out the Federal Government over the oppression and suppression meted on EndSARS protesters.

The body has said that the unlawful arrest of some journalists and the detention of some of them is an abuse of human rights.

One of the lawyers who supported the EndSARS protest had her international passport seized.

According to SERAP, the arrest of two WhatsApp administrators that supported the EndSARS movement in Osun State is an abuse of Human Rights.

However, the body has urged president Muhammadu Buhari to stop escalating repression, and respect the citizens fundamental rights.
