The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called out 30 state Governors for their refusal to access the N41.06bn Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) grant.

According to the body, the grant was to enable indigent children to have access to quality education, as of March, 2021. SERAP revealed that only Abia, Lagos and Kebbi have lodged their payments of the grant.
