The Chief of Staff to the Abia State Governor Anthony Agbazuere has been suspended, after a video of him spraying cash on popular Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere popularly known as Odumeje in his office surfaced online.
The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu had made this known via a press statement earlier today.
The statement was signed by the secretary to the state government, Chris Ezeme According to the statement, Agbazuere’s suspension takes immediate effect.
”Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate suspension from office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr ACB Agbazuere,” the short statement read.
Following the rending video online, the Chief of Staff had become the target of outrage by social media users.
Apart from the video trending online, ‘Indaboski’ and ‘Abia’ were among the Nigerian trends on Twitter.
Odumeje is a popular and controversial Onitsha-based clergyman and the overseer of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry.
He became popular in 2019 when he described himself as ‘the liquid metal’, ‘the war’, and ‘the indaboski pahose’ among others in viral videos in 2019.
