Following the abduction of scores of students from Government Science Secondary School in Kankara local government area of Kastina State, President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed grief.
The Special Senior Assistant to the president on Media and Publicity Garba Shehu had made this known yesterday.
According to him, the president strongly condemns the cowardly bandit’s attack on innocent children at the Science Secondary School Kankara.
The president also assured the students, school authorities and the injured that he will continue to support the military and police in tackling insurgency and banditry across the country. The president has also directed reinforcement of security agencies in all schools in line with the safe school policy of his administration.
He also advised parents who came to withdraw their children to notify the school authorities in order to have a full count of all students. He charged the military to go after the abductors and make sure no student gets missing or harmed.
