Thomas Partey has been ruled out of the Premier League clash against Leeds United on Sunday.
The 27-year-old has been battling with injuries since joining Arsenal in the summer.
He has now sustained a hamstring injury and will be out of the next few games.
Arsenal confirm his absence on their website and also revealed that he has started his rehabilitation.
“Thomas sustained a strain to his left hamstring during last Saturday’s match at Aston Villa and will miss the match against Leeds United on Sunday.
“Thomas will continue to be assessed and rehabilitate from this injury.”
Partey has made 13 appearances for Arsenal this season in all competitions as he battles with various niggling injuries.
