Victor Osimhen has resumed training at his Italian Club, Napoli after battling with a head injury he sustained against Atalanta last month.
He is in contention to face Bologna on Sunday after taking part in full training.
Osimhen missed three matches for Napoli one in the Europa League and two in the Serie A.
The club have now confirmed his availability on their website.
“Osimhen did the whole session with the team,” read a statement from the club website.
According to the club’s Neurosurgeon Alfredo Bucciero he could play a part against Bologna but revealed the decision lies with the club manager Gennaro Gattuso and doctor Raffaele Canonico.
“He can be called up. [Coach Gennaro] Gattuso and [doctor Raffaele] Canonico must decide,” Bucciero told Radio Punto Nuovo.
“As far as I’m concerned, from a clinical point of view, there are no problems. I asked him to dedicate a goal to me.”
Osimhen has made 16 appearances for Napoli in all competitions scoring twice and recording one assist.
The former Lille striker has battled with Covid-19 and injuries since joining the club in the summer.
