Following the new Covid-19 variant termed ‘Omicron’, the National Youth Service Corps has reportedly stated that it would not let down its guard on strict adherence to COVID-19 safety preventions.
This was reportedly disclosed in a statement on Monday by NYSC Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, Emeka Mgbemena, adding that the NYSC Director-General, Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, made the submission in his nationwide virtual address to the 2021 Batch ‘C’ Stream Two Corps Members and Camp Officials.
Ibrahim stated that, “From the next orientation exercise in 2022, all incoming PCMs will show evidence of vaccination before they would be allowed into the camp for registration.”
