Nyesom Wike placed a bounty on Stanley Mgbere’s head for anyone who could give any information that could lead to his arrest will receive N50Million. Wike announced he led IPOB members to cause violence in Onne community.
Stanley Mgbere released a video from his hideout and maintained his innocence. He affirmed that he was part of the #ENDSARS protest in Onne community including others but he didn’t commit any crime.
He also pleaded with the Executive Governor Nyesom Woke not to listen to rumours but to adhere to the fact. He vehemently asked Nigerians to share his video should anything happen to him.
Furthermore, Police in Rivers State said they have arrested 21 suspected members of (IPOB) Indigenous People of Biafra for allegedly attacking four police stations during which three policemen were killed.
The commissioner of police Joseph Mukan, during a press briefing at the command headquarters in Port Harcourt on Monday, said the police is cooperating with security agencies to restore law and order in Oyigbo Local Government Area and other places.
