The Nigerian National Petroluem Corporation, (NNPC) has dismissed all claims of a price surge in Premuim Motor Spirit, (PMS) in March across the country.
This was disclosed through the group’s official Twitter page, @NNPCgroup after claims by the Petroluem Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, (PPPRA) in the early hours of Friday 12 March 2021 stated otherwise.
The PPPRA had shared a template on Twitter which was later deleted stating that petrol was expected to sell at a lower retail price of ₦209.61 and at an upper retail price of ₦212.61.
NNPC further adviced individuals and groups to avoid hoarding and bulk buying of fuel due to its irrelevance as the price of petrol would remain stable in the country through out March.
