David Alaba has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Marca.
The Austrian defender received an inconclusive result at Valdebebas earlier in the day, before undergoing a PCR test at a nearby hospital which confirmed the case.
Alaba later returned to Real Madrid’s training facilities accompanied by a club doctor, and will now have to remain at home until the virus has cleared.
The former Bayern Munich player is the second Real Madrid squad member to have tested positive this summer.
Karim Benzema is still in Lyon after he turned in a positive test result just before he was scheduled to return to Madrid.
Alaba joined Real Madrid this summer from Bayern Munich on a free transfer.
