Tottenham Manager Jose Mourinho has criticised Andre Marriner for giving Chelsea their winning penalty in the victory over Spurs.
Jorginho’s penalty early in the first half was enough to hand Chelsea the maximum points and condemn Tottenham to their third consecutive defeat in the Premier League.
Mourinho has admitted that he does “not like” the referee’s performance.
“I didn’t like his performance. I have a good relationship with him and that gives me a good position to tell him I don’t like his performance.
“It was a bit of a struggle but how many chances did they have? We didn’t have the ball, correct, we didn’t create in the first half, correct,” the Portuguese told BT Sport.
Totenham slipped to eighth in the Premier League table after another damaging defeat which put their top-four hopes in jeopardy.
Tuchel has now become the first Chelsea coach to keep three clean sheets in his first three matches after Jose Mourinho did so in 2004.
