Kylian Mbappe once again showed his class by scoring a hat-trick to help PSG to an emphatic 4-1 victory over Barcelona at Nou Camp in a Champions League encounter.
Lionel Messi opened the scoring for Barcelona with a contentious penalty before Kylian Mbappe restored parity for the visitors to end the first half 1-1.
Barcelona capitulated after the restart as Mbappe was at the right place at the right time to give PSG a 2-1 lead.
Mois Kean headed in a free-kick to make it 3-1.
Mbappe completed his hat-trick with a late goal to finish off a superb counter-attack.
PSG were without Neymar and Angel Di Maria, Mbappe singlehandedly destroyed Barcelona to hand PSG a resounding victory over Barcelona.
The second leg will take place in Paris on Wednesday, March 10.
