Robert Lewandoski further underlined his importance to Bayern Munich by scoring a brace against Al-Ahly to help them book a place in the FIFA World Club Cup final.
The Champions League winners dominated the encounter, but Al-Ahly gave them a run for their money with a battling performance.
Lewandoski opened the scoring with a cool finish from a Gnabry pass in the first half.
He scored the second goal with five minutes to go after Ah-Ahly had their own good spell but they couldn’t breach the Bayern Munich defense.
Bayern Munich will slug it out with Mexican side Tigre on Thursday in the final.
