#LekkiMassacre: I Would Have Sued CNN – Adamu Garba

The Nigerian Army had earlier said they only shot blank bullets and not live arms at protesters on the 20th of October 2020. Following this report, CNN brought clear footage that live arms were shot at the protesters.

However, Adamu Garba who is the senior special assistant on News and Publicity to President Buhari has said that he would have sued CNN if they had instigated or sponsored people against the Government. According to him, CNN is doing their job as investigative reporters and not a conclusive reporter.
