Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led a delegation of State officials, traditional rulers and Security commanders to Ibadan in Oyo state for a joint security meeting with the Oyo State Government.
According to Abdulrazaq, the meeting focused on the recent security breaches involving herders and local communities in Oyo State and Kwara State.
He revealed that hate speech by non-state actors has dire consequences on national cohesion. He also said there is need for the two state Governors to come together to work with security agencies to curb criminal acts.
This is coming, after the clashes that occured in Shasha market in Oyo State by ethnic groups.
