#KankaraKidnap: Abducted Students Pleads For Mercy In New Video

Following the abduction of scores of students from Government Science Secondary School in Kankara local government area of Kastina State on the 11th of December 2020, the abductors have released footage showing the faces of the abducted students.

A boy who spoke in both English and Hausa language in the video has pleaded with the government to pay the ransom requested by the abductors to secure their release.

According to him, the military officers that are combing the forest to secure their rescue should retreat immediately. The boy also said that the abductors requested that all schools should be closed except Islamiyah (Quaranic) schools.

With tears in the boy’s eyes, he revealed that about 520 students were abducted but some of them had been killed. He pleaded with the government to try their best in rescuing them.
