Tottenham captain Harry Kane has confirmed his desire to stay at the club amidst links to Premier League Champions, Manchester City.
Manchester City submitted three bids for Kane this summer but Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy rejected the bids claiming that his star striker is not for sale at any price.
The 28-year-old has now revealed that he will be staying put at White Hart Lane for the duration of the 2021/2022 season.
Kane said on Twitter that he will be on giving his al to help the team this season putting an end to speculations surrounding his future.
“It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks.
“I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success. #COYS”
This will come as a big blow to Manchester City who are looking for a replacement for their all-time top scorer, Sergio Aguero who joined Barcelona on a free transfer this summer.
