President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed grief over the abduction of students at Government Girls’ Secondary School Jangebe in Zamfara state yesterday.
The President has made it known that his primary aim is to rescue the students safe, alive and unharmed.
In his words he said that it’s not as if the government cannot deploy forces against the bandits, but the also want to ensure the lives of Innocent citizens.
Buhari added that bandits and terrorists should not think the government is afraid of them and cannot overcome them, and that they should not see the government as weak because they are trying to protect lives.
He revealed that the government would not succumb to bandits and terrorists, who blackmail and target schools in order to get huge ransom.
