Following Nnamdi Kanu’s trial today, Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja has reportedly ordered the Department of State Services to allow Nnamdi Kanu to change his outfit and allow him to do some exercise.
This is coming after Kanu’s lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, SAN, reportedly called the attention of the Judge to how the IPOB leader was being treated by the DSS.
He disclosed that despite an order by Justice Nyako for the DSS to allow Kanu to practice his faith, have his bath, change his clothes and eat properly, the IPOB leader was still being kept in confinement.
In view of this, Justice Nyako reportedly stated that “I don’t want to see him in these clothes again. This one is almost off-white. Also, make sure that you allow him to exercise.”
