Ighalo Wins Player Of The Month Award

Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has been named Al-Shabab player of the month for May following his impressive performances in the month under review.

The 31-year-old scored six goals in five matches in May as Al-Shabab won three matches, he scored a brace in their last League match of the season against Al-Wehda.

Al-Shabab finished second in the Saudi Arabian league four points behind Al Hilal to book a place in the AFC Champions League.

Ighalo joined Al Shabab after leaving Manchester United at the end of his loan spell.
