Following the fight against killer Fulani Herdsmen in the South West region of Nigeria, Sunday Adeyemo fondly called Sunday Igboho had previously ordered the Fulani in Igangan area of Oyo State to vacate as their hideout was a terrorist den.
Sunday Igboho, however, promised to visit all the South Western States to flush out the bandits, and with that he had reportedly stormed Ogun State yesterday, to fulfil the promise.
According to reports, Igboho stopped briefly in Abeokuta around 4pm and had a brief interaction with his supporters.
Speaking in Abeokuta, he said,
“I observe there is an injustice from the herdsmen because they know the power that they have in the Federal Government. So, they behave as if Yoruba people are nobody. They kill our people, they kidnap our people, and they rape our women”.
Stressing further, he said that, “Any Fulani herdsman who engages in kidnapping would be flushed out”. He declared that, “Not only Igangan, we are going to visit all Yorubaland and ensure there is peace everywhere.”
According to a report from The Punch newspaper, Remmy Hazzan, Special Adviser on Public Communications to the Ogun State Governor Abiodun, said Igboho was free to come to the state for consultation.
Igboho thanked the Ogun State Governor for the kind gesture and said, “We have not visited the governor, we will do that after we have flushed the Fulani herdsmen out of the state. I am going to Yewa because that is where the Fulani are wreaking havoc”.
