Prominent and award-winning Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi, has revealed that she only has five years to live, after being diagnosed with lupus-an an ‘incurable’ ailment.
Disclosing this in a podcast with Chude Jideonwo, published on Friday, Kemi Afolabi made it known that she had lived just one year after the doctor diagnosed her.
The actress made it known that her doctor said, “Make sure you are with your loved ones. At least, you still have up to five years.”
Commenting on the sickness, the actress indicated, “I have lupus. It’s not curable. You just have to take medications for the rest of your life.”
Lupus is an inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues.
