Apostle Pastor Moses Popoola, Head Pastor of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, has said that agriculture is a crucial factor that will resolve Nigeria’s present economic problems.
He said this while speaking to newsmen at the Ilorin district headquarters of the church where a programme with the theme ‘Alpha and Omega’ was held. Pastor Popoola revealed that it was God who told him to pass this message.
“For Nigeria to move out of its economic woes, Nigerians should go back to agriculture. That›s what God told me. There is a need to embrace farming to boost the nation›s economy. God is still saying that we should go back to the farm,” he said.
He also said that the government should use agriculture as a means of job creation for the unemployed population while providing adequate security for the farmers. He, however, emphasized the need for community policing, as it will reduce the crime rate in communities.
“Accountability is our problem. People should take responsibility. Each community should take care of themselves; protect themselves when they go to the farm,” He added.
