Olivier Giroud has sent a a farewell message to Chelsea on Twitter ahead of his move to AC Milan.
The French striker is expected to sign his contract with the Italian Club in few days after passing his medicals on Friday.
The deal is worth 2 million pounds with add-ons and he is expected to sign a two-year deal.
“To all the Blues, to my teammates, to all my coaches, to the whole club, a huge thank you for these special moments,” Giroud tweeted.
Giroud started eight Premier League games for Chelsea last season.
He finished as the club’s top scorer in the Uefa Champions League.
Giroud won the Europa League, FA Cup and the Uefa Champions League trophy for Chelsea.
