General Gowon Carted Away Half Of CBN - UK Parliament - Jangolova News

Yesterday the UK parliament started a session over the Lekki massacre that took place on the 20th of October 2020 in Nigeria. The parliament which comprises the House of Lords and the House of Commons has revealed that General Yakubu Gowon allegedly looted half of the funds in the Central Bank of Nigeria to the United kingdom around 1970.

Nigerians had since react to this shocking story as most of them looked up to the then Head of State as a national hero.

If Gowon carted away half of Cbn and up till date we still haven’t recovered any money, imagine what Abacha must have looted. We should try to change our national anthem. “The labor of our heroes past shall never be in vain” is a biggest lie I was taught at school.

A govt official in UK Parliament just stated today in their session that they all know that Yakubu Gowon stole half the central bank of Nigeria and took it to London.

These are the clowns we were taught in schools to see as “heroes”.

I am not surprised at that revelation by a member of the UK Parliament on General Gowon though. No Nigerian former head of state is innocent. They all took Nigeria’s money to the UK and the present ones are still doing it. Even the UK government is aware.
