Affordable housing scheme:

The Federal Government has launched an affordable housing scheme, to deliver affordable housing and millions of job for Nigerians. The National Social Housing Programme NSHP which is the housing component of Nigeria will allow individuals to own a home with as low as N 2,000,000 naira with no collateral or interest.

The federal government said the scheme would provide about 300,000 homes across the country, 600 estates to be delivered, 37 locations, 9,000 partnership, 600 management contractor, 600 project managers, and about 1,800,000 jobs for Nigerians. According to the body, individuals would be able to apply for free through a transparent selection process.

The National Social Housing Programme (NSHP) will allow you own a home, as an individual or part of a cooperative with as low as ₦2,000,000 only. Beta house, beta life for everybody!

Individuals will be able to register and apply for free. They will go through a transparent selection process where the most suitably qualified applicants will be selected based on predetermined criteria.

NSHP is set to achieve the following objectives:

* Construct 300,000 homes across Nigeria for low income earners,

* Create up to 1.8 million jobs in the Construction Value Chain for Nigerians…
