The Federal Government have built and equipped a new ultramodern medical center at the Oyo State NYSC orientation camp in Iseyin.
At the formal handing over of the clinic to the NYSC, the Chief Medical Director of the UCH Ibadan Prof. Jesse Otegbayo said that the project was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Health to provide adequate health facilities for all Nigerians.
Otegbayo further stressed that the UCH through which the project was executed will continue to supply manpower to the clinic and ensure that both staffs and students enjoy the health care facilities.
The Director-General of NYSC Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has said that the building of the project by the federal government shows that the federal government is interested in the success of NYSC. He said that the facility would go a long way in boosting the health care services for Corp members and staffs.
The Director-General further said that NYSC, in general, would utilize the facility and make sure that it develops the, following the fact that Corp members have been actively involved in community services.
