EPL: Tottenham Back On Top With Chelsea Stalemate, Wolves Beat Arsenal

Tottenham played out a goalless draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to move a point clear of Liverpool on top of the Premier League log.

It was a keenly contested game as both sides aimed for the maximum points, but they settled for a share of the spoils.

Harry Kane and Heung Min Son had a quiet game while Tammy Abraham failed to connect with three superb crosses by Reece James which could have earned Chelsea a win.

Manchester United fought back from a 2-0 deficit to earn a stunning 3-2 victory over Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium.

The hosts raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half but the visitors turned the game around when Cavani replaced Greenwood at the start of the second half.

The former PSG striker had a hand in all the three goals, he assisted Bruno to reduce the deficit before he scored two late goals to hand Manchester United the maximum points.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirate Stadium to further pile pressure on Mikel Arteta.

Pedro Neto opened the scoring for Wolves before Gabriel restored parity for Arsenal with a thumping header from a Willian corner.

Wolves retained their lead when Daniel Podence finished off after Leno fumbled Traore’s cross go give Wolves the maximum points and condemn Arsenal to their worst start since 1989.

Wolves top soccer, Raul Jimenez was stretchered off when he had a bloody clash of heads with David Luiz.
