Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has urged the fans to be patient with new record signing, Kai Havertz after another poor performance against Everton.
The German star joined Chelsea in the summer for a club-record fee of 71 million pounds, but he has struggled to live up to expectations.
Havertz has scored just one goal and recorded one assist in the Premier League so far, he missed three matches when he tested positive for Covid-19 last month.
“He can play in any position across the front three and he has played on the right countless times before he played for Chelsea”.
“People who want to jump on to criticize should just wait and give a young player time. I know the player that Havertz is going to be.”
Havertz and Chelsea will be hoping for a better performance on Tuesday against Wolves.
