Borussia Dortmund aren’t giving up on keeping hold of Erling Haaland next season, according to Tribal Football.
Haaland is set to be the most in-demand player in world football at the end of the campaign, once his £64million release clause comes into operation.
Yet Dortmund are not ready to cash in on the prolific 21-year-old, and are now placing what could prove to be an irresistible offer on the table, says Sky Deutschland.
With Chelsea and Real Madrid heading a queue of European giants chasing his signature, it is claimed that Dortmund are ready and willing to double Haaland’s current earnings – reported to be in the region of £7.5m – to around £15m.
Crucially however, Dortmund will insist on Haaland’s bargain £64m release clause being delayed by another season, meaning it will not come into activation until the summer of 2023.
