Cryptocurrencies Business Op-ed

Cryptocurrency Ban Is A Sign Of Clueless Governance

My fellow Nigerians, I am totally ashamed, saddened and disgusted with the latest CBN announcement, banning cryptocurrency transactions in the country. This is purely signs of incompetent, backwardness and ignorance. This country only imitates backwardness, tyranny and obviously underdevelopment.

If cryptocurrency is so dangerous why haven’t developed countries like USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Singapore, Switzerland etc ban it usage and spread, rather first world countries are busy empowering Fintech companies, building blockchain infrastructures and smart contract applications by providing enabling environment for their citizens.

When Cryptocurrency Visa and Mastercard are being issued to EU, Asia, Australia, South and North American citizens and residents, Nigeria adopted an acidic policy to restrict and stunt development in a failing economy to further suffocate and strangulate it citizens.

In furtherance to the abomination they are and have committing Adamu Garba has the temerity to utter such poisonous comment encouraging youths to imbibe in Cow ranching rather than trading in cryptocurrency. This is a man who called himself a “Digital Transformer” – Indeed you are. These are the kind of fools we have as leaders, a vivid example why Nigeria is still backward till date.

It’s vehemently clear now that “progress Dey Purge Our So-called Leaders“. With people like this in the position of authorities, they will send us all to the stone age and re-introduce “Typewriters rather than Computer” citing fear of hacking.

Our stupid government and their agents like Adamu are scared of empowering Nigerians. They want to be in control of everything, they prefer Nigerians to dwell in the ocean of poverty rather than progress. So let me ask these ignorant, educated fools one single question… If cryptocurrency is too bad why haven’t first-world countries ban the use of crypto in their respective countries?

Na this kind of decisions still keep us underdeveloped. How can we even develop when our mumu leaders want to keep us down. Progress dey purge these fools. Next election, i want every youth to remember, Lekki massacre and all their unscrupulous policies.
