#Covid-19: Osun State Government Permits New Year Cross Over Service

Osun State Governor had given new directives about the Cross over service that was meant to hold on the 31st of December 2020. The service which had been cancelled before by the State Governor had been reinstated with new directives.

In a statement signed by the commissioner for information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, it had been made known that all service on that day must close early. She further stressed that everyone must be off the street by 1 am.

The statement also read that, security operatives would be on the ground to enforce the law and anyone found guilty would have to spend the first day of the New year in the police custody.

The statement also stressed that the existing protocols should be strictly adhered to. Facemasks, hand sanitisers should be mandatory for anyone going for the service.

The population expected should just be 50% of the total population, and sharing of instruments or things that can spread the virus should be avoided.
