#Covid-19: FCT Bans Large Gatherings And Others

The Federal Capital Territory Minister Mallam Mohammed Musa Bello has dished out new protocols to be followed in curbing the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to him, all gatherings should not accommodate more than 50% of the crowd, with the use if nose mask and hand sanitiser. He also said that unnecessary travels should be avoided.

He made it known that religious gatherings should be 50% of the population with the use of nose mask. In addition, he said that all schools resumption date should be shifted to the 18th of January 2020.

Also, all night club and bars should be closed till further notice. He said all restaurants should also be closed except the ones attached to the hotel. He made it known that all grade level 12 government workers are to work from home for the next 5 weeks.

All this were made known in a statement signed by Anthony Ogunleye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Minister on the 23rd of December, 2020.
