Chelsea recorded a hard-fought 2-1 win over Palmeiras to win the their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup.
The Brazilian club produced a spirited performance to frustrate the blues as the first half ended goalless.
After the restart, Romelu Lukaku gave Chelsea the lead with a thumping header.
Thiago Silva was penalised for handball to allow Palmeiras back into the game when Calvacante Veiga scored from the spot.
The regulation time ended 1-1 as Chelsea continued their dominance in the extra time.
Havertz was the hero once again when he scored from the spot in the second half of extra time to hand Chelsea the trophy for the first time.
