Chelsea have confirmed that Thomas Tuchel has signed a new two-year deal.
Tuchel took over the Chelsea job in January after Frank Lampard was sacked following poor performances.
He went on to guide Chelsea to a top-four finish and also won the Uefa Champions League trophy.
He has now been rewarded with an extension after signing an 18 months deal in January.
On the extension of his contract, Tuchel told the club’s official website: “I cannot imagine a better occasion for a contract renewal. I am grateful for the experience and very happy to stay part of the Chelsea family.
Tuchel won 19 out of 30 matches for Chelsea after taking over in January.
