Football Legend Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack.
The Gimnasia coach had been hospitalized in early November a few days after celebrating his 60th birthday after he complained of fatigue.
Tests carried out at the La Plata clinic revealed a blood clot in his brain which required surgery and doctor later revealed it was successful.
Maradona was later released from hospital as at out patient to continue his convalescence.
The Napoli legend suffered a cardiac arrest on Wednesday morning which led to his death.
Maradona played a major role as Argentina won their second FIFA World cup in 1986.
