Following the Government’s effort to see that insurgency and banditry becomes history in Nigeria, the Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle has revealed on Sunday that his government has secured the release of more than 1,000 people from their captors without paying any ransom.
Revealing this in an interview on Channels TV Sunday Politics, he said

According to reports, he noted that: “To me, as a leader, I cannot fold my arms seeing my people killed every day. I have to initiate anything I know I can be able to make my people sleep with their both eyes closed. That’s why I have to initiate that dialoguing with these people. And I believe that by the time all governors come together and agree on doing so, we can be able to secure our country”.
