Arsenal Captain, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has thanked the club for helping him through a tough period.
Aubameyang started his first match in over a month against Leeds United after he was out of action because his mother was ill.
He returned to action with a bang against Leeds United by scoring a hat-trick as Arsenal defeated Leeds United 4-2.
The Gabonese Striker has now reserved special praise for his club for their support during those times.
“Everyone was giving a lot of love to me, my mum and my family,” the Arsenal skipper told Sky Sports.
“I have to say thank you to everyone at the club, and the fans.”
The hat-trick means a lot to me,” added the forward.
“I’m a guy who always works hard. It’s been a tough time for me.”
Aubameyang was the third player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick on Valentine’s Day, after Matt le Tissier vs Liverpool in 1994 and Michael Owen vs Sheffield Wednesday in 1998.
