ASUU Suspends 240 Lecturers For Enrolling In IPPIS

The Academic Staff Union Of Universities ASUU has suspended 240 lecturers including professors at the University of Lagos, for enrolling in the IPPIS salary scale proposed by the Federal Government which is against the directive of ASUU. This is happening after the body suspended their 9 months strike.

UNILAG chapter of ASUU has suspended the lecturers for agreeing that their salaries be paid through the Integrated Personnel Payment Information System IPPIS instead of the University Transparency and Accountability Solution UTAS which the body wanted.
