ASUU Requests For Kidnapped Colleague, Either Dead Or Alive

The Academic Staff Union Of Universities ASUU, University of Calabar branch has requested for the release of their colleague, Dr David Ugwu, who has been held hostage since the 14th of February, 2020.

The Chairman of the ASUU branch in the University of Calabar, Dr John Edor has said the Union and its members felt scourged and neglected with the way and manner the case was handled by security agencies.

The Chairman revealed that Dr David Ugwu was an associate professor in the the department of Institute of Policy Planning and Administration, and was kidnapped in his home on the 14th of February, 2020.

The body however begged that they want their colleague back, whether dead or alive, making it known that an injury to a member of the Union is an injury to all.
