Arsenal came back from a goal down to earn a vital 2-1 win over Tottenham courtesy of goals by Martin Odegaard and Alexander Lacazette.
Erik Lamela opened the scoring for Tottenham with a magnificient Rabona finish that beat Bernd Leno in the 33rd minute.
Martin Odegaard effort deflected in just before half-time to restore parity for Arsenal to make it 1-1 going into the break.
Lacazette gave Arsenal a deserved lead just after the hour-mark from the spot after he was fouled by Davinson Sanchez he sent Hugo Lloris the wrong way for his 12th goal of the season.
Erik Lamela was sent off for Tottenham for two bookable offences with 14 minutes to go before Gabriel cleared Sanchez’s effort off the line in the closing moments of the game.
Arsenal held on to win but they remain in 10th ten points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea.
