Amotekun Intercepts Two Trucks Conveying Northerners In Ondo State

The Amotekun security outfit has again intercepted two trucks conveying over 160 persons, mostly youths from the North; hiding under some cows and motorcycles, in Ondo State.

Confirming the incident, the Head Office of Amotekun in Ondo state, Adetunji Adeleye said that some charms were recovered from the invaders, adding that they were hiding inside the trucks in suspicious manners.

He stated, “On careful observation, we found out that they concealed about 40 motorcycles with over 100 persons lying beneath them.”

Adeleye maintained that when they were questioned they couldn’t give tangible reasons for coming to the state.

He further advised Ondo residents to be on guard, and notify the Amotekun on suspicious persons in the vicinity.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Hausa Community in Ondo State, Bala Umar, has dissociated himself from the arrested northerners, noting  that they were not informed of their coming.

He added that the young boys could cause havoc in the vicinity and run back.
