The Nigerian Police Force has responded to allegations meted on them by Amnesty International following the Lekki massacre.
The IGP has said that the reports of Amnesty International following the Lekki massacre were untrue and also contrary to available empirical evidence.
He noted that during the protests, officers used legitimate means to make sure the protests were conducted in a peaceful manner. He said the officers walked side by side with protesters and protected them.
The IGP also admitted that no protester was shot or manhandled.
